Company Formation Brockenhurst

Company Formation Brockenhurst

Set your company up properly, from the start.

Most people forming a limited company for the first time find the paperwork straightforward enough, then discover three months later that the ongoing obligations were not what they expected. We handle the formation, explain what comes next, and keep everything on track. Fixed-fee pricing, responses within one working day, cloud accounting set up and ready to go.

  • Companies House registration handled correctly, first time
  • Company secretarial obligations set up and monitored from day one
  • Your first-year accounts and corporation tax return in the diary
  • Cloud accounting live before you trade your first invoice

No long-term contract required. If it is not working after three months, you leave with clean records and nothing outstanding.

Sound familiar?

Not sure what forming a company actually involves?

Registering at Companies House takes about ten minutes. Understanding what you have signed up to takes considerably longer. Confirmation statements, corporation tax deadlines, director’s loan accounts, PAYE registration — these are not complicated, but they do catch new directors out when nobody has explained them upfront. Getting the structure right from the beginning saves a fair amount of retrospective tidying.

  • Unsure whether to incorporate now or trade as a sole trader first
  • No idea what filing obligations start the moment Companies House confirms the company
  • Cloud accounting not set up, so no visibility of profit or tax position from day one

What a well-formed company looks like

Formation done correctly, with the right share structure and director appointments from the outset. Every compliance deadline entered, monitored, and handled. Cloud accounting live before the first transaction goes through, so you have financial visibility from the beginning rather than scrambling to recreate it later.

  • Structure advice given before incorporation, so the right entity is formed
  • All filing obligations explained and scheduled the week the company is formed
  • Xero or QuickBooks set up and operational before your first invoice
  • One fixed monthly fee covering ongoing compliance, with no surprise bills

What you get

Everything covered from formation to first filing

Company formation is the beginning of a compliance calendar, not the end of one. The services below cover the full first year and everything that follows.

01

Company Formation and Setup

We register your company at Companies House with the correct SIC code, share structure, and director details. Registered office service is available if needed, and we handle the initial company secretarial setup so nothing is missed in those first few weeks.

From day one
02

Year-End Accounts and Corporation Tax

Your statutory accounts and CT600 corporation tax return are prepared and filed on time, every year. We work through allowable deductions, director’s salary and dividend positions, and anything else that affects your final tax bill — well before the deadline, not the week before it.

Compliance handled
03

Cloud Accounting and Ongoing Support

Xero or QuickBooks Online is configured for your business from the outset, giving you a real-time view of income, expenses, and estimated tax throughout the year. Monthly bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and management accounts can all be added as your needs grow.

Why Supreme Consulting

What makes the difference when forming a company

Formation itself is a commodity. What you are actually choosing is the accountant who handles everything that follows. These are the reasons clients in Brockenhurst and across Hampshire stay.

📅

Twenty-one years of company formations

Supreme Consulting has been forming and advising limited companies since 2005. The common mistakes new directors make — wrong share structure, missed PAYE registration deadlines, incorrect accounting period — are the kind of things that get caught before they happen rather than unpicked afterwards. That depth of experience is present from the first conversation.

☁️

Cloud-ready from day one

Every new company is set up on Xero or QuickBooks Online from the outset. That means your income, expenses, and estimated corporation tax liability are visible in real time from the moment you start trading, rather than being reconstructed at year end from a folder of bank statements. The difference in clarity is considerable.

💷

Fixed fee, no hidden additions

The quote you receive covers the agreed scope in full. Formation, company secretarial, first-year accounts, corporation tax — each is priced clearly before you commit to anything. There are no hourly rates running in the background and no invoice surprises at year end. If the scope changes, the price is discussed first.

Getting started

Your company up and running in four steps

The process is designed to be straightforward for you. Most of the work sits with us, not with you.

1

A brief discovery call

We start with a no-obligation conversation covering your business, your trading intentions, and whether incorporation is the right move now or later. You will leave the call knowing exactly what happens next, which is more than most people know going in.

2

A clear fixed-fee proposal

You receive a written proposal covering formation, company secretarial setup, cloud accounting, and ongoing compliance. Every service is itemised with its price. There is nothing in the small print that was not in the proposal.

3

Formation and setup handled

We handle the Companies House registration, configure your cloud accounting platform, and establish the compliance calendar for your first year. Your involvement at this stage is minimal — mostly confirming a few details and approving the setup.

4

Trading, with visibility

With your company formed, accounts live, and all key dates in the diary, you can focus on the business itself. Your books are current, your tax position is visible throughout the year, and there is considerably less to think about than there would be without this in place.

Questions

What people usually ask before forming a company

Do I actually need to incorporate, or is sole trader the better option for now?+

It depends on your expected profit level, your appetite for the associated admin, and whether you need the limited liability that incorporation provides. For most people earning above roughly £30,000–£35,000 in net profit, incorporation starts to make financial sense, but the tax saving needs to be weighed against the additional compliance cost. We work through this with you on the discovery call so the decision is based on your numbers, not a general rule of thumb.

What does company formation actually cost, and what is included?+

The formation fee itself is modest — the substantive cost is ongoing compliance. We provide a fixed-fee quote covering formation, company secretarial setup, first-year accounts, and corporation tax return. Add-ons such as monthly bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT are priced separately and clearly. Nothing is on the clock, and the quote you receive is the price you pay for the agreed scope.

My books are already in a bit of a state — can you still help?+

Most clients arrive with records in varying states of order. Catch-up bookkeeping is a standard part of what we do, and the cost of bringing things up to date is included in your quote rather than appearing as a surprise later. The sooner things are straightened out, the cleaner the picture going forward.

Is there a long-term contract?+

No. We work on a rolling monthly arrangement for ongoing services. If it is not working, you give us notice and leave with your records in good order. The formation and year-end work are project-priced separately, so there is no minimum term attached to those either.

What are my filing obligations in the first year after formation?+

In the first twelve months you will typically need to file a confirmation statement, prepare statutory accounts, and submit a corporation tax return to HMRC. If you register for VAT or employ staff, quarterly VAT returns and monthly payroll RTI submissions are added to the calendar. We map out all of these at the point of formation and handle each one as it falls due, so nothing is missed.

How do I pay myself tax-efficiently from my new limited company?+

The typical approach for owner-managed limited companies is a combination of a small director’s salary (usually set at or around the National Insurance threshold) topped up with dividends from retained profit. The right split depends on your personal tax position, any other income you have, and your company’s cash flow. We model this at the start of each tax year so your drawings are structured properly rather than worked out retrospectively.
