Sound familiar?
The deadline crept up and you are not sure you are ready.
A confirmation statement is easy to overlook. There is no tax calculation involved, no accounts to prepare — just a filing obligation that sits quietly in the background until Companies House sends a reminder, or does not. Directors who miss the deadline risk a late filing notice and, eventually, compulsory strike-off. The form itself is straightforward, but getting it wrong or filing with out-of-date information still causes problems.
- Confirmation statement deadline missed or dangerously close without action taken
- Company register details not reviewed since formation and possibly out of date
- No confidence that SIC codes, shareholder details, and PSC information are all current
What handled looks like
The confirmation statement is reviewed, checked against your current company register, and filed accurately before the deadline. Any information that needs updating is flagged and corrected first. You receive confirmation once Companies House has accepted the filing.
- Deadline tracked and filing submitted with time to spare
- Company register reviewed before submission — directors, shareholders, and PSC entries checked
- SIC codes, registered office, and share capital all confirmed accurate prior to filing
- Fixed fee agreed upfront — no invoice surprises after the work is done

What makes the difference in practice
Experience and plain communication are the two things that matter most when you are trusting someone with your compliance obligations.
Over 20 years filing company returns
Supreme Consulting has been handling limited company compliance since 2005. Confirmation statements, corporation tax returns, statutory accounts — the process is well-practised and the deadlines are tracked as a matter of course. You do not need to remind anyone.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
Most clients are fully onboarded within a few days. There is very little you need to do beyond sharing your company details.

Register reviewed and filing prepared
Your company register is checked against Companies House records. Any corrections are flagged and discussed before the CS01 is submitted. You do not need to log in to any portal or navigate Companies House yourself.
Filed, confirmed, and done
Once Companies House accepts the filing, you receive written confirmation. The next due date is noted, and the cycle continues without you needing to track it. One less thing on the list, which is the point.

Things directors usually want to know
What exactly does a confirmation statement confirm, and can I just file it myself?
The confirmation statement tells Companies House that you have reviewed your company’s registered details — directors, shareholders, persons with significant control, SIC codes, and share capital — and confirmed they are accurate. You can file it yourself through the Companies House portal, and for a very simple company with no changes it is not technically difficult. Where it goes wrong is when the register has not been maintained properly and inaccurate information gets filed, which stores up problems. Having someone check it first is worth the small cost.
What does it cost and what is included?
Confirmation statement filing is priced on a fixed fee, agreed before work starts. The fee covers a review of your current company register, preparation and submission of the CS01, and written confirmation once Companies House has accepted it. If corrections to the register are needed, that is discussed and quoted separately before any additional work is done.
My company details have not been updated for a few years. Is that a problem?
It is not unusual, particularly for directors who set a company up and then got on with running it without thinking about the paperwork. The first step is to establish what Companies House currently holds and what the correct position should be. Changes to directors, shareholders, or PSC details can be filed alongside or ahead of the confirmation statement. It is manageable — the key is getting it in order before the next filing deadline.
Is there a long-term contract if I use you for this?
No. Supreme Consulting works on a fixed-fee basis per engagement, with no minimum term and no lock-in. If you want ongoing company secretarial support on a retainer, that is available, but it is a choice, not a condition of getting the initial filing done. You can start with a single confirmation statement and take it from there.
What happens if my confirmation statement is overdue?
Companies House will have sent reminders to your registered office address, and if the filing window has passed, the company will be in default. The statement can still be filed late — Companies House does not charge a late fee for confirmation statements in the same way as accounts, but persistent non-filing will lead to a strike-off notice. Filing as soon as possible resolves the default, and the next annual window is reset from the date of the late filing.
