Sound familiar?
Year-end creeping up and the numbers still not right?
Most Hampshire limited company directors come to us in one of two states: either they have let bookkeeping drift and the year-end is now a scramble, or they have a previous accountant who filed the accounts without ever explaining what the figures meant. Neither is unusual. Both are fixable.
- ✕ Accounts filed late or at the last minute every year without fail
- ✕ No idea what the corporation tax bill will be until the demand arrives
- ✕ Company secretarial — confirmation statements, registered office — quietly falling behind
What a well-run company file looks like
Year-end accounts prepared from clean records, not a last-minute reconstruction. Corporation tax calculated in advance so you can plan around it. All statutory obligations met without you having to keep a checklist.
- ✓ Year-end accounts completed and filed well ahead of the Companies House deadline
- ✓ Corporation tax calculated early so the liability is never a surprise
- ✓ Confirmation statements, registered office, and company secretarial fully managed
- ✓ Fixed-fee pricing agreed upfront — no hourly billing, no unexpected invoices

What sets us apart from the average practice
Established in 2005, working remotely across Hampshire and the UK. The same accountant each time, not a different face every year.
Over 20 years of limited company work
Supreme Consulting has been preparing limited company accounts since 2005. Director pay structures, dividend efficiency, close company rules, and the quirks of owner-managed businesses are familiar territory. You will not need to explain how your company is set up before getting a useful answer.
Fixed fees, agreed before we start
Every engagement starts with a clear, written proposal covering exactly what is included and what it costs. No hourly billing, no invoices that arrive larger than expected. If the scope changes, the fee is discussed first.
Real-time records on cloud accounting
Xero and QuickBooks Online certified, with integrations set up to suit your business. Your accounts are maintained in the cloud, so you can see where you stand at any point in the year rather than finding out twelve months later at the year-end meeting.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
Switching accountants or starting from scratch takes less effort than most people expect. We manage the transition so you do not have to.
A brief discovery call
A no-obligation call to understand your company structure, current accounting setup, and what you actually need. You will leave the call knowing exactly what we would cover and at what cost.
A clear, fixed-fee proposal
You receive a written proposal with the scope, price, and timelines laid out plainly. No ambiguity about what is included and what is not. You can ask questions before committing to anything.
Onboarding and cloud migration
We contact your previous accountant, request the handover files, and migrate your records to Xero or QuickBooks Online. The process is handled on our side. You do not need to manage the transition.
Ongoing and in hand
Year-end accounts, corporation tax, VAT, payroll, and company secretarial running as they should. Deadlines are monitored, correspondence is handled, and your tax position is visible throughout the year, not just at year end.
“Communication is always prompt, professional, and easy to understand, which makes dealing with finances far less stressful. They take the time to explain things.”
Things Hampshire limited company directors ask us
What exactly is included in a limited company accounts package?
The core package covers your statutory year-end accounts filed at Companies House, the CT600 corporation tax return submitted to HMRC, your annual confirmation statement, and your director’s self assessment tax return. Bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and management accounts are costed separately and clearly if you need them.
How does the fixed-fee pricing work and what does it cost?
Every quote is tailored to your company’s size, complexity, and the services you need. You receive a written proposal before anything starts, so the fee is agreed and fixed before work begins. There are no hourly rates and no charges for routine emails or calls within the agreed scope. Contact us for a specific quote based on your company.
My books are behind and the year-end is overdue — can you still help?
Yes, and it is more common than you might think. We take on companies with incomplete records, backlogged bookkeeping, and overdue filings regularly. There will be a catch-up cost, which is scoped and quoted before any work starts. The priority is getting the company into a compliant position and then establishing a clean process going forward.
Is there a minimum contract term or penalty for leaving?
No minimum term and no exit penalty. If you decide to move to a different accountant, we provide a full handover to whoever takes over, including all filed accounts, tax records, and working papers. The only requirement is reasonable notice so that any work in progress is completed or handed over cleanly.
Can you advise on the most tax-efficient director pay structure?
Yes. The mix of salary and dividends for a director-shareholder has a meaningful effect on both personal tax and the company’s national insurance position. We review this as part of the annual accounts process and flag any changes in thresholds or rates that affect your position. It is not complicated, but it is worth getting right each year.
When will I know what my corporation tax bill is going to be?
As soon as the year-end accounts are drafted, which we aim to do well ahead of the nine-month filing deadline. You will not be waiting until the last minute to find out what is owed. If your bookkeeping is maintained throughout the year on Xero or QuickBooks Online, a reasonable estimate is available at any point during the year.
