Accountants For Small Limited Companies

Accountants for Small Limited Companies

Your limited company accounts, handled properly.

Most small limited company directors are running their compliance reactively — chasing deadlines, guessing at the tax bill, and hoping nothing has been missed. Supreme Consulting has managed limited company accounts since 2005. Fixed-fee pricing, Xero and QuickBooks Online included, replies within one working day.

  • Corporation tax liability known months before it falls due
  • Year-end accounts and CT600 filed ahead of every deadline
  • Directors’ remuneration structured to be genuinely tax-efficient
  • Fixed monthly fee — agreed upfront, no hourly rate surprises

No long-term contract. If it is not working after three months, you leave with clean, cloud-ready books and nothing outstanding.

Sound familiar?

Running your limited company on gut feel and receipts?

Most small limited company directors are capable people who happen to find the accounting side accumulates. Corporation tax bills arrive without much warning. The confirmation statement reminder sits unread. Year-end becomes a scramble to find twelve months of bank statements. None of it is insurmountable, but left unattended it tends to get worse.

  • Corporation tax bill arrives as a surprise, with no prior planning or visibility
  • Year-end accounts filed in a rush, days before Companies House deadline
  • No clear view of what the company owes HMRC at any given point

What a tidy limited company looks like

Compliance handled ahead of each deadline. Tax position visible throughout the year. Directors’ remuneration set up in a way that makes sense commercially, not just technically.

  • Corporation tax liability calculated and visible months before it falls due
  • Accounts and CT600 prepared and filed well ahead of every deadline
  • Monthly bookkeeping means you always know what the company owes HMRC
  • One fixed monthly fee — scope agreed upfront, no billable hours sitting in the background

What you get

What the fixed fee covers

Core compliance as standard. Advisory and bookkeeping available as add-ons at clearly stated rates — no vague scope, no invoice surprises.

01

Year-End Accounts and Corporation Tax

Statutory accounts prepared to Companies House standard, CT600 filed with HMRC, confirmation statement handled, and directors’ personal tax return included where required. You will know the tax liability well before the payment deadline. No year-end scramble.

Core compliance
02

Bookkeeping, VAT and Payroll

Monthly bookkeeping on Xero or QuickBooks Online keeps the records current and the VAT position visible. Quarterly VAT returns filed under Making Tax Digital, payroll run through the full RTI bureau. You see where the company stands every month, not once a year.

Available as monthly add-on
03

Directors’ Remuneration and Tax Planning

Most small limited company directors are not drawing salary and dividends in the most tax-efficient way. A review of your remuneration structure, combined with forward-looking tax planning on capital gains, pension contributions, and profit extraction, can make a material difference to what you retain. Specific advice, not generic guidance.

Why Supreme Consulting

What makes this firm worth talking to

Four things that tend to matter when you are choosing an accountant for a small limited company.

📅

Twenty Years of Limited Company Work

Supreme Consulting has been filing limited company accounts, CT600 returns, and confirmation statements since 2005. The compliance requirements are familiar, the common mistakes are known, and the planning opportunities do not get missed. That is what two decades of practice looks like in practice.

💷

Fixed Fee, Agreed Before Any Work Starts

The quote covers the full scope — year-end accounts, corporation tax, confirmation statement, and any agreed add-ons. There is no hourly rate running in the background and no invoice that arrives larger than expected. If the scope changes, you are told before the cost does.

💡

Commercial Advice, Not Just Compliance

Filing on time is the minimum. The more useful question is whether the directors’ remuneration is structured sensibly, whether the company is holding cash it should be extracting, and whether any tax relief is being left unclaimed. Those conversations happen here as a matter of course, not as billable extras.

Getting started

Up and running in four straightforward steps

The transition from your previous accountant, or from doing it yourself, is handled on our side. You are largely free to get on with running the business.

1

A No-Obligation Discovery Call

A short conversation — usually 20 to 30 minutes — to understand the company, its current setup, what has or has not been filed, and what you actually need from an accountant. No sales pressure. You will leave knowing exactly what happens next.

2

A Clear, Fixed-Fee Proposal

You receive a written proposal covering every service in scope, the annual fee, what is included, and what is not. No ambiguous wording. If it does not look right, say so before anything is signed.

3

Onboarding and Cloud Migration

We handle the 64-8 transfer from your previous accountant, migrate your records to Xero or QuickBooks Online, and ensure the books are clean from the start. You do not need to chase your previous accountant or spend hours on handover.

4

Ongoing — With Nothing to Chase

Deadlines are tracked, reminders go out ahead of time, and the tax position is visible throughout the year. Questions get answered the day you ask them. Your annual accounts will cease to be the thing you dread in January and forgot about in March.

Questions

Things most limited company directors ask first

Do you handle the full compliance picture for a small limited company, or just the year-end accounts?+

The full picture. Year-end statutory accounts, CT600, confirmation statement, and directors’ Self Assessment are all handled as part of the standard limited company service. Bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and advisory are available as add-ons at clearly stated rates. You can take as much or as little as makes sense for your company.

What does it actually cost, and what is included?+

Pricing is fixed-fee and agreed before any work starts. The quote sets out exactly what is covered — there are no hourly rates running in the background and no invoice that arrives larger than expected. Fees vary depending on the size and complexity of the company, so the best way to get a figure is to request a quote, which costs nothing.

My books are in a mess and I have not filed for a year. Can you still help?+

Yes, and it is a common situation. Catch-up and clean-up work is priced separately and quoted upfront before anything is touched. Once the records are in order, ongoing compliance tends to be straightforward. The sooner the work starts, the smaller the HMRC late filing penalties.

Is there a long-term contract or minimum commitment?+

There is no long-term contract. Clients typically stay because the service is useful, not because they are contractually obliged to. If you decide to leave, you take your records with you in a clean, cloud-accessible format and there is nothing outstanding.

Can you advise on the most tax-efficient way to extract profit from the company?+

Yes. The question of salary versus dividends, pension contributions, and timing of profit extraction comes up with most limited company clients. It is reviewed as part of the ongoing relationship, not treated as a one-off billable conversation. The goal is that you keep as much of what the company earns as the rules allow.

How far in advance will I know what my corporation tax bill is going to be?+

With current bookkeeping in place, the tax position is visible throughout the year — not just at year-end. You should know your approximate corporation tax liability at least three to four months before it falls due, which gives enough time to plan the payment rather than scrambling to find it.
