Sound familiar?

Still not sure what your tax bill is going to be?

Most limited company directors find out their corporation tax liability when the accountant sends the bill, not months earlier when there was still time to do something about it. Meanwhile, bookkeeping drifts, the confirmation statement deadline appears from nowhere, and the director’s tax return gets left until January. None of it is complicated, but it all takes time you do not have.

  • Corporation tax bill arriving as a surprise rather than a planned figure
  • Bookkeeping left to pile up because there are only so many hours in the week
  • Salary and dividend levels set once and never revisited for tax efficiency

What a well-run company looks like

With the compliance handled and the numbers current, decisions become easier. You know the tax position ahead of time, the books are clean, and someone is looking at whether the structure still makes sense for you.

  • Corporation tax calculated quarterly so the figure is never a surprise
  • Monthly bookkeeping kept current so year-end is a formality, not a rescue job
  • Salary and dividend mix reviewed annually to keep the tax position efficient
  • Fixed monthly fee covering everything agreed, with no invoice surprises

Why Supreme Consulting

What sets this firm apart from the rest

Twenty years of working with owner-managed businesses means very little comes as a surprise. The approach is direct, the pricing is clear, and the advice is grounded in how businesses actually operate.

📅

Twenty Years With Limited Companies

Founded in 2005, Supreme Consulting has worked with owner-managed limited companies across a wide range of sectors for over two decades. The compliance requirements, the common mistakes, the tax planning opportunities — none of it needs explaining from scratch. You get an accountant who already knows the territory.

💷

Fixed Fee, No Surprises

Every engagement is priced at a fixed monthly fee agreed upfront, covering a defined scope with no ambiguity. There are no hourly rates ticking in the background, no invoice for a quick question, and no bill inflation at year-end. If the scope changes, it is discussed and agreed before the work is done.

☁️

Cloud Books You Can Actually Use

Bookkeeping is done on Xero or QuickBooks Online, so the numbers are current and accessible rather than sitting in a desktop file you cannot open until someone emails it over. Management reports, cash flow position, VAT liability — available when you need them, without asking.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

The transition to a new accountant is straightforward. Most clients are fully onboarded within two weeks, with no disruption to their day-to-day.

1

A Brief Discovery Call

A no-obligation conversation, usually twenty to thirty minutes, covering your current setup, what is working and what is not, and what you actually need. You will leave with a clear sense of whether Supreme Consulting is the right fit before any commitment is made.

2

A Fixed-Fee Proposal

You receive a written proposal setting out exactly what is included, what the monthly fee is, and when work will be delivered. No vague scope, no hourly estimates. If it looks right, you sign and the onboarding begins.

3

Onboarding and Cloud Setup

Companies House authority is transferred, previous records are reviewed and migrated to the cloud, and the software is configured for your business. The aim is that you do as little as possible during this stage — the heavy lifting sits with us.

4

Your Accounts, Running as They Should

From month one, compliance is handled, the books are current, and proactive advice comes to you rather than waiting for you to ask the right question. The tax bill is visible well before it is due, and you can get back to running the business.

Questions

Things limited company directors usually ask

Do you handle both the company accounts and the director’s personal tax return?+

Yes. The two are closely linked and handled together as standard. The director’s Self Assessment covers salary, dividends, and any other income sources, and the timing of dividend payments is considered alongside the company’s tax position rather than in isolation. Most limited company directors find it simpler to have both handled by the same firm.

What does the limited company service cost, and what is included?+

Pricing is fixed and agreed upfront based on the scope of work. A core package covers year-end statutory accounts, the corporation tax return (CT600), confirmation statement filing, and the director’s Self Assessment. Bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and advisory services are priced as add-ons and quoted clearly before any work begins. There are no hourly rates and no surprise invoices.

My books are behind and my previous accountant left things in a state. Can you still take this on?+

This is a fairly common situation. A catch-up or clean-up service is available to bring the records current before ongoing work begins. The cost of the catch-up is quoted separately and agreed upfront so there are no surprises. Once everything is in order, the ongoing fee applies from that point forward.

Is there a minimum contract term or lock-in period?+

There is no long-term contract. Services run on a rolling monthly basis and can be cancelled with reasonable notice. If you decide to move on, you leave with clean, up-to-date records and all the documentation needed to transition to another accountant without disruption. The aim is to keep clients through quality of service, not contractual obligation.

When in the year should I be thinking about tax planning, rather than leaving it to year-end?+

The most useful planning happens in the final quarter of your accounting year, when the full-year position is visible but there is still time to act. Pension contributions, capital allowances, and the salary and dividend mix for the following year are the most common areas reviewed at that point. Leaving it until after the year-end closes off most of the options.

Can you tell me in advance what my corporation tax liability is likely to be?+

With bookkeeping kept current throughout the year, a reliable estimate of the corporation tax position is available at any point, not just at year-end. That means you can set aside the right amount as you go rather than facing a bill you were not expecting. HMRC payment deadlines are monitored and communicated well ahead of time.
