  • Bookkeeping, VAT and payroll handled so your attention stays on the business

No long-term contract. If it is not working after three months, you leave with clean books and nothing owed.

Sound familiar?

Running a limited company on guesswork is expensive.

A lot of Buckland limited company directors file accounts once a year and hope the tax bill is manageable. They do not know what they owe until the accountant tells them, often with not enough time to plan around it. The company structure that made sense at formation might not be the most efficient one now. And the compliance tasks that pile up quietly — confirmation statements, payroll, VAT — eat time that should be going elsewhere.

  • Corporation tax bill arrives as a surprise with no time to plan
  • Director salary and dividend split not reviewed since incorporation
  • Confirmation statements, payroll and VAT treated as afterthoughts

What a well-run company structure looks like

Your tax position should be visible months before any deadline. Your remuneration structure should be reviewed regularly against your personal circumstances. And the routine compliance tasks should simply happen without requiring your involvement.

  • Corporation tax calculated and visible well before the payment date
  • Director salary and dividend split reviewed annually for efficiency
  • Confirmation statements, payroll and VAT handled as part of a managed service
  • Fixed monthly fee with no unexpected bills for routine work

Managed monthly
03

Tax Planning and Management Accounts

Director remuneration planning, dividend strategy, and personal tax returns are reviewed each year to keep the structure as efficient as your circumstances allow. Quarterly management accounts give you a clear view of profitability and cash position so decisions are based on current numbers.

Why Supreme Consulting

What sets this firm apart from the rest

After 21 years working with owner-managed limited companies, the differences come down to a few things that actually matter to a director.

📅

Twenty-one years with limited companies

Supreme Consulting has worked with owner-managed limited companies since 2005. That means common director situations — remuneration planning, IR35 exposure, year-end timing — are familiar territory rather than things to look up. The advice you receive is grounded in what has worked and what has not across hundreds of client relationships.

💷

Fixed fee, no surprises

The price is agreed before any work begins and covers the scope in writing. There are no hourly billing surprises for a question asked in October about a filing due in January. If the scope changes materially, that conversation happens in advance.

☁️

Cloud accounting included from day one

Xero and QuickBooks Online are included as part of the service rather than charged as an add-on. Your books are current, accessible, and connected to your accountant without anyone emailing spreadsheets at year-end. Real-time figures mean the advice you receive is based on what is actually happening, not what happened eleven months ago.

Getting started

Up and running in four straightforward steps

The process is designed to be low-effort on your side. Most of the administrative work happens at the onboarding stage so there is very little to do before things are simply running.

1

A conversation, no commitment

A short discovery call covers your current setup, what you need, and whether there is a sensible fit. There is no obligation attached. You will leave the call knowing exactly what would be involved and what it would cost.

2

A clear, fixed-fee proposal

A written proposal sets out the scope, the price, and what is included. No ambiguity about what is covered and what would be charged additionally. Review it at your own pace.

3

Onboarding and cloud setup

Previous accountant handover, Companies House authorisation, and cloud accounting migration are all handled. The administrative side of switching is straightforward and does not require much from you beyond a few signatures.

4

Your accounts, running properly

Deadlines are tracked and met, tax positions are reviewed proactively, and questions get answered the working day you ask them. The compliance runs in the background and the advice is there when you want it — which is, frankly, how it should work.

Questions

Things most limited company directors ask first

Do you handle the full limited company compliance package, or just the year-end accounts?+

The full package. Year-end statutory accounts, corporation tax return (CT600), confirmation statement, director’s Self Assessment, payroll, and VAT are all available either as a bundle or as individual add-ons to a core compliance service. Most limited company directors find it more practical to have everything in one place rather than managing multiple providers with overlapping responsibilities.

How is the fee structured and what is included?+

Pricing is fixed-fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. The quote is scoped to your company’s size, turnover, and the services you need — so a straightforward limited company with no VAT and one director will be priced differently from one with employees, quarterly VAT, and management accounts. There are no hourly billing surprises. Add-ons like payroll or bookkeeping are priced clearly and separately.

My books are behind and my last accounts were filed late. Is that a problem?+

It is a fairly common starting position and not something that prevents a clean transition. A catch-up bookkeeping review is part of the onboarding process and any historical issues with Companies House or HMRC can be worked through systematically. The cost of getting things current is discussed upfront so there are no surprises once the work begins.

Is there a minimum contract or notice period?+

There is no long-term contract. The arrangement operates on a rolling monthly basis with reasonable notice to end it. If you decide to move on, your records are handed over in an orderly way and there is nothing additional owed for routine work already covered by the retainer.

Can you advise on the most tax-efficient director salary and dividend split?+

Yes. Director remuneration planning is reviewed each year as part of the service rather than treated as a chargeable extra. The right structure depends on your personal income, other earnings, pension contributions, and the company’s profit position, so it is reviewed against your current circumstances rather than a generic formula applied once and forgotten.

When will I know what my corporation tax bill is going to be?+

Well before the payment is due, as a rule. Management accounts and year-end preparation are timed so that the corporation tax liability is calculated and discussed with you in advance of the nine-month payment deadline. There should be no occasion where the bill arrives as news.

Ready when you are

Less guesswork about your tax position, more time on the business.

Supreme Consulting handles the compliance, plans ahead on the tax, and gives you a straight answer when you need one. Fixed-fee, cloud-first, and available within one working day.
