Sound familiar?

Still not sure what your tax bill is going to be?

Most Hythe limited company directors know the deadlines exist but spend the weeks before them hunting for receipts, chasing bookkeepers, or doing it themselves on a Sunday evening. The compliance gets done, just not comfortably. And the question of what it all actually costs the business rarely gets a clear answer until it is too late to do anything about it.

  • Year-end crunch arriving before the books are anywhere near ready
  • Corporation tax bill appearing as a surprise rather than a planned figure
  • Director responsibilities mounting with no one keeping track on your behalf

What a well-run company looks like

When the compliance runs smoothly and the numbers are current, you spend less time reacting and more time deciding. That is what this service is built around.

  • Year-end accounts prepared on time, with everything in order well before filing
  • Corporation tax liability calculated and communicated months in advance
  • Director obligations tracked and handled — confirmation statements, CT600, payroll
  • Fixed monthly fee covering the full scope, with no surprise invoices

Why Supreme Consulting

What separates this from the average accountant

Experience, transparency, and advice that is grounded in your commercial reality — not theoretical accounting.

📅

Over Twenty Years in Practice

Supreme Consulting has been working with limited companies since 2005. That means the common pressure points for owner-managed businesses — director salary decisions, dividend timing, CT payment planning — are already familiar ground. You will not be explaining how your business structure works before getting a useful answer.

💷

Fixed Fees, No Surprise Invoices

Every engagement is quoted upfront with a clear scope. What is included is stated plainly, and additional services are priced separately before any work begins. There are no opaque hourly rates or bills arriving after a ten-minute phone call.

☁️

Cloud Accounting Already Set Up

Xero and QuickBooks Online are included as standard for clients who need bookkeeping. Migrations from legacy software or paper records are handled during onboarding. The result is real-time visibility into your numbers without you having to manage any of the technical setup.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

The process is straightforward. Most clients are fully onboarded within two weeks, with everything in order before their next filing deadline.

1

A Brief Discovery Call

A no-obligation conversation to understand your company, your current setup, and what you actually need. No forms to fill in beforehand — just a straight conversation about where things stand.

2

A Clear, Fixed Proposal

You receive a written proposal covering exactly what is included, what the fee is, and when work begins. Nothing is ambiguous and nothing changes without your agreement.

3

Onboarding and Migration

Previous records are requested from your old accountant or assembled from source documents. Cloud accounting is set up or migrated, and any catch-up bookkeeping is completed before the ongoing service begins.

4

Your Finance Function Running

Deadlines are tracked, returns are filed, and your tax position is visible throughout the year. Questions get answered within one working day. You focus on the business; the compliance is simply handled.

Questions

Things Hythe limited company directors usually ask

Do you handle the full limited company compliance package, or just the accounts?+

The core service covers year-end statutory accounts, corporation tax return (CT600), and confirmation statement filing. Director Self Assessment returns, payroll, VAT, and bookkeeping are each available as clearly priced additions. Most clients take a combination of these — the scope is agreed upfront and nothing is added without your knowledge.

What does it cost, and what is included in the fee?+

Pricing is fixed and scope-based. The exact fee depends on your company’s turnover, transaction volume, and the services you need. A written quote is provided after the initial call, covering everything that is included and pricing any add-ons separately. There are no hourly rates and no bills for routine correspondence.

My books are behind and I have not filed for a year. Can you still help?+

Catch-up work is something the practice handles regularly. Books in disarray, missing records, or late filings are assessed during onboarding and a clear plan is set out before any work begins. Catch-up has a cost that is quoted separately and honestly — it will not be presented as part of the standard monthly fee.

Is there a minimum contract term or a penalty for leaving?+

There is no long-term contract. Engagements run on a monthly basis and you can give notice at any point. If you decide to leave, your records are provided in a clean, transferable format for your next accountant. Nothing is owed beyond work already completed.

We are based in Hythe — do you work with local clients in person, or is it all remote?+

The practice operates on a cloud-first, remote basis, which means clients across the South Coast are served without needing to travel to a meeting. Hythe is approximately ten miles from the Lymington office. For clients who prefer a face-to-face conversation, that can usually be arranged.

How far in advance will I know what my corporation tax bill is going to be?+

Once bookkeeping is current and management accounts are in place, the corporation tax position is typically visible several months before the payment deadline. This gives you time to plan the cash requirement rather than treating it as an unpleasant surprise. For clients without monthly bookkeeping, an estimate is still prepared as soon as the year-end figures are pulled together.
