Limited Company Accounts
Your company accounts handled properly, every year.
Running a limited company means statutory obligations that do not move. Year-end accounts, corporation tax, confirmation statement — each has a deadline, each carries a penalty if missed. Fixed-fee pricing means you know the cost upfront, questions get answered within one working day, and the filing gets done without chasing you for paperwork at the last minute.
- Year-end accounts filed accurately and on time with Companies House
- Corporation tax calculated and CT600 submitted well before the deadline
- Your tax liability known months ahead, not weeks after
- Director’s Self Assessment prepared alongside the company accounts
No long-term contract. If it is not working after three months, you leave with clean, filed accounts and nothing outstanding.

Sound familiar?
Year-end creeping up and nothing is quite ready?
Most owner-managed limited companies arrive at year-end with books that need sorting, receipts that need finding, and a tax bill they cannot yet calculate. The deadline is fixed. HMRC and Companies House do not make allowances for busy trading years. Leaving it late means late-filing penalties, a rushed return, and no time to consider whether there was anything worth planning.
- Books behind, receipts missing, year-end deadline already on the horizon
- No idea what the corporation tax bill will be until the accountant tells you
- Director’s Self Assessment still to deal with on top of the company accounts
What a properly handled year-end looks like
The accounts are prepared from clean, reconciled records. The corporation tax is calculated with enough lead time to plan around it. The CT600, statutory accounts, and confirmation statement are filed before any deadline comes close.
- Books reviewed, reconciled, and ready well ahead of the filing deadline
- Corporation tax liability confirmed months in advance, with planning options discussed
- Director’s Self Assessment prepared at the same time, no separate chase required
- Fixed fee agreed upfront — no surprise invoice when the accounts are done

What makes the difference for limited company clients
Over two decades working with owner-managed limited companies means the common problems are familiar before you describe them.
Twenty years of limited company work
Supreme Consulting has been preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for owner-managed limited companies since 2005. The practical issues that catch directors out — missing deadlines, directors’ loan account balances, dividend timing — come up every year and are handled as a matter of course, not escalated as exceptions.
Tax liability visible well in advance
The accounts are prepared early enough to have a genuine conversation about the corporation tax position before payment is due. If there are planning options worth considering — timing of expenditure, pension contributions, dividend levels — there is time to act on them rather than note them for next year.
Fixed fee, agreed before any work starts
The quote covers the full scope: year-end accounts, CT600, confirmation statement, and director’s support throughout the year. There are no additional charges for routine questions or a second draft of the accounts. What was agreed is what gets invoiced.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
From initial call to filed accounts, the process is designed to need as little of your time as possible.
A brief discovery call
A short, no-obligation conversation covers your company’s current setup, what has been filed before, and what you need going forward. You will know by the end of the call whether this is a good fit and what the next step looks like.
A clear, fixed-fee proposal
You receive a written proposal setting out exactly what is included, the fixed fee, and when filings are due. No ambiguity about scope, no hourly rates that accumulate quietly in the background.
Smooth onboarding and records transfer
Previous accounting records are collected from your old accountant or pulled from your cloud software. If the books need catching up before the year-end work can begin, that is flagged and quoted separately — no surprises once work has started.
Compliance handled, focus on business
Year-end accounts, CT600, confirmation statement, and director’s tax return are filed on time every year. You receive a plain summary of what was filed and your tax position. The annual cycle runs without requiring you to chase or manage it.
“I’m so grateful for the help received with my small cleaning business. Stuart holds your hand and advises throughout!”
Common questions about limited company accounts
What is actually included in the year-end accounts service?
The standard package covers preparation and filing of statutory accounts with Companies House, the corporation tax return (CT600) submitted to HMRC, and the annual confirmation statement. Director support throughout the year — questions, correspondence, routine company matters — is included in the fixed fee. Add-ons for bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and the director’s Self Assessment are priced and quoted clearly before any work begins.
How is the fee structured and what does it cost?
Pricing is fixed and agreed before work starts, based on the company’s turnover, number of transactions, and the scope of services required. There are no hourly rates and no additional charges for routine questions during the year. A written proposal is provided after the initial call so you know the exact figure before committing to anything.
My books are a year or more behind — can you still help?
Yes. Catch-up bookkeeping and accounts preparation for prior periods is a regular part of the work here. The backlog is assessed and quoted separately from the ongoing annual fee so the cost is transparent. Once the records are current, the annual cycle runs without that kind of backlog building again.
Is there a minimum contract or lock-in period?
There is no long-term contract. Work is agreed on a per-year or monthly retainer basis depending on the services involved. If at any point the arrangement is not working for you, you leave with filed accounts, clean records, and nothing outstanding. Professional clearance to a new accountant is handled promptly.
When do you need the year-end information from me?
For limited companies, HMRC allows nine months from the year-end to pay corporation tax and twelve months to file the CT600 and accounts. Working to those deadlines is the minimum; in practice, starting the accounts process three to four months after the year-end gives enough time to review the figures properly and consider any planning before payment falls due.
Can you advise on salary and dividend levels each year?
Yes. The most tax-efficient split of salary and dividends for a director-shareholder changes year to year as rates and thresholds shift. As part of the accounts process, the current year’s position is reviewed and a recommendation is made for the coming year. This is included as part of the service rather than billed as a separate advisory engagement.
