Sound familiar?
Four income streams. Zero idea what you owe.
Most influencers are running a genuine business before they realise it. Brand deals land in one account, affiliate payments arrive in another, YouTube cuts a cheque in dollars, and somewhere there is a Shopify store too. Reconciling all of that for HMRC is not straightforward, and most general accountants have never seen a settlement report from a platform in their lives.
- ✕ No clear picture of tax owed across multiple income streams
- ✕ Unsure which expenses — equipment, subscriptions, travel — are legitimately claimable
- ✕ No one has advised on whether a limited company would actually save money
What organised looks like
One accountant who already understands how platform income works. Your records kept current in the cloud, your tax bill visible well before the January deadline, and a clear steer on structure, expenses, and what to put aside each month.
- ✓ Self Assessment completed across all income sources with no missed entries
- ✓ Allowable expenses reviewed so you are not leaving money on the table
- ✓ Sole trader versus limited company assessed against your actual numbers
- ✓ Fixed monthly fee — no surprise invoices when tax season arrives

Everything a content creator needs, covered
From annual self assessment to monthly bookkeeping and tax planning, the service is built around how influencer income actually works.
Self Assessment Across All Platforms
Your SA100 return covers every income source — brand partnerships, affiliate schemes, ad revenue, merchandise, and any other stream. You will know your tax bill months before January, not the week before it is due. Expenses are reviewed properly so the return reflects your real position.
Included as standardMonthly Bookkeeping In The Cloud
Records kept current in Xero or QuickBooks Online every month, with platform income reconciled against your bank statements. No year-end scramble trying to remember what happened in April. You have a clean set of books and a clear picture of where you stand at any point.
Add to your packageLimited Company Setup And Tax Planning
If a limited company would reduce your tax bill, the numbers are run before any recommendation is made. Company formation, corporation tax, director’s salary and dividend planning are all handled. VAT registration and Making Tax Digital obligations are monitored so you are not caught out by a threshold you did not know you had crossed.

Why influencers work with us over a general accountant
Most accountants have one client who is a content creator. We understand the income model, the platform structures, and the tax treatment without needing it explained from scratch.
Platform income handled without the tutorial
Brand deals, affiliate payouts, YouTube monetisation, merchandise through Shopify — each has its own timing, currency, and tax treatment. You will not spend the first hour of every call explaining how a platform pays out before getting a useful answer. The question is answered from the point of familiarity, not from scratch.
Over 20 years of practical experience
Supreme Consulting was founded in 2005 and has worked with sole traders, freelancers, and owner-managed businesses throughout. That breadth of experience matters when the income picture is complicated. Advice is grounded in what actually works commercially, not what looks tidy on paper.
Fixed fees, no billing surprises
Pricing is agreed upfront and scoped clearly — you know what is included before anything starts. There are no hourly rates that accumulate unnoticed or additional invoices arriving after a VAT return. If your situation changes and more work is needed, that conversation happens before the work does.
Up and running in four straightforward steps
The onboarding process is handled at our end. You answer some questions, we take it from there.
A brief discovery call
A no-obligation conversation, usually 20 to 30 minutes, to understand your income streams, current setup, and what you actually need. No forms to fill in beforehand. You will leave knowing exactly what the next step looks like.
A clear, fixed-fee proposal
You receive a written proposal setting out exactly what is covered, what it costs, and what happens next. No vague scope, no open-ended commitments. If the proposal does not suit, there is no obligation to proceed.
We handle the transition
If you are switching from another accountant, we manage the professional handover. Records are migrated to Xero or QuickBooks Online and any catch-up work is scoped and priced at the outset. You do not need to do much beyond providing access.
On with the actual business
Once things are in order, the compliance runs in the background. Your books are current, your tax position is visible, and your accountant is available when questions come up. Which is, frankly, the way it should be.
“Very clear and gives excellent clarity on all situations when I am in doubt. Communication is always prompt, professional, and easy to understand, which makes dealing with finances far less stressful. They take the time to explain things.”
Questions influencers usually ask us first
Do you understand how brand deals, affiliate income, and platform monetisation are taxed?
Yes. Each income type has its own treatment — brand deal payments are trading income, affiliate commissions depend on how they are structured, and ad revenue from YouTube or TikTok arrives in various currencies with its own timing. Gifted products above a certain value also need to be considered. You will not need to explain the income model before getting a useful answer.
What does it cost and what is included?
Pricing is fixed and agreed before any work starts. A self assessment return for a creator with multiple income streams is priced based on complexity and scope. Monthly bookkeeping, VAT, and advisory services are available as add-ons or as part of a retainer. The proposal you receive will set out exactly what is covered and what is not — no open-ended scope.
My books are in a bit of a state. Is that a problem?
It is not unusual. Most people who come to us have records in some degree of disarray, particularly if they have been managing things themselves across multiple platforms. Catch-up work is scoped and priced clearly at the outset so there are no unexpected bills. The aim is to get everything current and then keep it that way going forward.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. There is no minimum term beyond the initial three-month period needed to set things up and demonstrate whether the arrangement is working. If it is not, you leave with your records in good order and nothing further owed. Most clients stay because the service works, not because they are contractually obliged to.
Should I be operating as a sole trader or through a limited company?
It depends on your income level, how much you want to extract from the business, and your longer-term plans. A limited company can reduce the overall tax burden once income reaches a certain level, but it adds administrative obligations and costs that need to be weighed against the saving. We will run the numbers for your situation before making any recommendation.
When will I actually know what my tax bill is going to be?
With current bookkeeping and quarterly reviews, your tax position is visible throughout the year rather than being a figure that emerges in December. You will know what to set aside and roughly what is owed well before the January deadline — which removes most of the anxiety around self assessment for the vast majority of clients.
