Sound familiar?

Running a limited company is straightforward until it isn’t.

Confirmation statements, corporation tax deadlines, PAYE obligations, quarterly VAT — the compliance list for a limited company is longer than most directors expect when they first incorporate. Add bookkeeping that has slipped a few months and a year-end looming, and it becomes the kind of problem you put off until it feels urgent.

  • Year-end approaches with months of unreconciled transactions still outstanding
  • No clear view of this year’s corporation tax liability until HMRC sends a demand
  • Director salary and dividend split set once and never reviewed for tax efficiency

What a well-run limited company looks like

Compliance handled on schedule, books current throughout the year, and a clear picture of your tax position before it becomes a problem. That is the baseline we set for every client.

  • Books reconciled monthly so year-end is a formality, not a scramble
  • Corporation tax estimated and visible well before the payment deadline
  • Salary and dividend structure reviewed annually to keep your tax bill where it should be
  • One fixed monthly fee covering everything agreed — no unexpected invoices

What you get

Everything your limited company needs to stay compliant

Core compliance handled as standard, with bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and advisory available as add-ons — all quoted clearly upfront.

01

Year-End Accounts and Corporation Tax

Your statutory accounts and CT600 are prepared and filed on time, every year. We work from your cloud records throughout the year, so there is no last-minute rush and no box of receipts to courier over. You will also know what you owe HMRC well ahead of the payment due date.

Included as standard
02

Bookkeeping, VAT and Payroll

Monthly bookkeeping on Xero or QuickBooks Online keeps your records accurate and up to date. Quarterly VAT returns are handled under Making Tax Digital, and if you run payroll, RTI submissions go out on time. These are the moving parts that cause the most friction when left unmanaged — we take them off your plate.

Available as add-on
03

Management Accounts and Director Advisory

Quarterly management accounts give you a clear read on profit, cash flow, and where the business stands. We also review your director salary and dividend structure each year to make sure your tax position reflects your current situation. If something changes in your business — growth, a new contract, a property purchase — you have someone to call.

Why Supreme Consulting

What sets us apart from the average accountant

Twenty-one years of practical experience, modern cloud tools, and pricing that does not change without warning. These are things you notice inside the first few months.

📅

Twenty-one years with limited companies

Supreme Consulting has been working with owner-managed limited companies since 2005. That means we have seen the compliance landscape change considerably — IR35 reforms, MTD rollout, dividend tax increases — and we have helped clients navigate each one without drama. When something changes in tax law that affects your company, you will hear from us before it becomes your problem.

☁️

Cloud records you can actually see

We work in Xero and QuickBooks Online, which means your accounts are not sitting in a file on someone’s desktop. You have a live view of your numbers at any point in the year. That visibility matters when you are making decisions about salary, investment, or drawing dividends — you are not guessing.

💷

Fixed fees, agreed in writing upfront

Every engagement starts with a written proposal that sets out exactly what is included and what it costs. The fee does not change because of a phone call or a question about expenses. If the scope changes materially, we discuss it first. No surprises on the invoice is, frankly, the way it should work.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

The transition to a new accountant is usually less disruptive than people expect. Most clients are fully onboarded within two to three weeks.

1

A conversation, no obligation

We start with a discovery call to understand your company, your current setup, and what you actually need. You will leave the call with a clear picture of what we would cover and roughly what it would cost — before any paperwork is signed.

2

A fixed-fee proposal

You receive a written proposal covering the scope of services, what is included, and the monthly fee. Everything is itemised. If you want to add or remove something, we adjust it before you agree to anything.

3

We handle the transition

We contact your previous accountant, request the handover documents, and migrate your records to the cloud. The administrative side of switching sits with us, not with you. If your books are behind, we will assess the catch-up work and quote it separately before starting.

4

Ongoing — and largely invisible

Once you are set up, the compliance runs in the background. Deadlines are tracked, returns are filed, and you receive proactive updates when something needs your attention. You focus on running the business and hear from us when it is useful, not just when something is overdue.

Questions

What New Milton limited company owners usually ask

Do you work with limited companies across all sectors, or do you specialise in particular industries?+

We work with owner-managed limited companies across a wide range of sectors — construction, professional services, hospitality, e-commerce, property, healthcare, and more. The compliance obligations for a limited company are broadly the same regardless of sector, but the tax planning picture can vary considerably. If your business has sector-specific considerations, such as CIS if you are in construction or VAT margin schemes in hospitality, we already know how those work.

What does a limited company package cost, and what is included?+

Pricing is fixed-fee and set out in writing before you commit to anything. A standard limited company package covers year-end accounts, the corporation tax return (CT600), confirmation statement, and access to support throughout the year. Bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, and management accounts are priced separately and added to a monthly retainer if required. The quote we provide reflects the actual scope of your business — not a generic tier.

My books are several months behind. Is that a problem?+

It is a common situation and not an obstacle to getting started. We would assess the state of your records during the onboarding conversation and quote for any catch-up work separately before beginning. Once the backlog is cleared, we move you onto a monthly bookkeeping cycle so it does not happen again. Most clients are further behind than they initially think, and that is fine — we have seen worse.

Is there a minimum contract period? What happens if I want to leave?+

There is no long-term lock-in. Engagements run on a rolling monthly basis after an initial notice period, which is set out in the engagement letter. If you decide to move on, we prepare a full handover pack and hand off cleanly to your next accountant. You leave with your records in order and no outstanding obligations on our side.

Can you help me decide on the most tax-efficient way to pay myself as a director?+

Yes, and it is something we review with every limited company client at least once a year. The optimal salary and dividend split depends on your personal tax position, your company’s profitability, and any other income you have. We model the numbers and give you a clear recommendation rather than a general observation about what directors typically do.

How far in advance will I know what my corporation tax bill is going to be?+

With monthly bookkeeping in place, your estimated corporation tax liability is visible throughout the year — not just at year-end. We flag it at each quarterly review so you can set aside the right amount and avoid any cash flow surprises when the payment falls due. HMRC correspondence arriving before you have thought about it is largely avoidable when the books are current.
