Your CT600 filed correctly, on time, every year.
Every limited company has a corporation tax obligation. Most directors would rather not think about it until the deadline is close, which is usually when surprises happen. We prepare and file your CT600, review your allowable deductions, and give you a clear liability figure well before payment falls due. Fixed-fee pricing, no hourly billing, and questions answered within one working day.
- CT600 filed on time with no last-minute scrambles
- Your tax liability confirmed months before the payment deadline
- Allowable reliefs and deductions reviewed thoroughly each year
- Fixed fee agreed upfront — no surprise invoices after filing

Sound familiar?
Still not sure what your tax bill will be?
Most limited company directors know corporation tax is due nine months after their year end. Fewer know their actual liability until the accountant gets back to them — often close to the deadline. That gap between year end and filing is where poor records, missed reliefs, and avoidable penalties tend to accumulate. It does not need to work that way.
- ✕ Tax return left until late because the year-end figures were never finalised
- ✕ No clear idea what the corporation tax bill will be until filing is almost done
- ✕ Allowable expenses and reliefs left on the table because no one reviewed them

What the corporation tax service covers
A complete end-to-end CT600 service for limited companies, with deduction reviews and proactive communication built in as standard.
CT600 Preparation and Filing
Your corporation tax return is prepared from your year-end accounts, reviewed for accuracy, and filed with HMRC before the statutory deadline. You receive a clear summary of the computation and what you owe. No chasing, no last-minute calls.
Included as standardTax Liability Known in Advance
Once the accounts are finalised, your corporation tax figure is communicated promptly so you have time to arrange payment. For most small companies this means knowing the number weeks, sometimes months, before it falls due. Cash flow planning becomes considerably more straightforward.
Proactive by defaultDeductions and Reliefs Reviewed
Each year we review your allowable expenses, capital allowances, and any available reliefs — including R&D credits where applicable — to make sure the computation reflects your actual position. It is not unusual for a first-year review to identify amounts that had simply not been claimed.

From sole traders to growing limited companies, the feedback across our client base points to the same things: clarity, reliability, and plain-English communication.

What makes the difference on a CT return
Filing a CT600 is not complicated. Filing it accurately, on time, with the right reliefs claimed and the liability communicated clearly — that is where the quality of your accountant shows.
Over 20 years filing CT returns
Supreme Consulting has been preparing corporation tax returns for owner-managed limited companies since 2005. That depth of experience means the common errors, overlooked reliefs, and timing traps are well known before your return is ever opened. You benefit from that without needing to ask.
Fixed fee, agreed before we start
The price for your CT600 is confirmed upfront, before any work begins. There are no hourly rates running in the background and no invoice surprises once the return is filed. If your circumstances change materially, we discuss it with you — we do not simply send a larger bill.
Your liability confirmed early
Once your year-end accounts are finalised, your corporation tax figure is communicated promptly. For most clients this means knowing what is owed with enough lead time to plan the payment sensibly. That is a basic courtesy that, in our experience, not every practice makes a point of.
Up and running in four steps
Switching accountants for your corporation tax is straightforward. Most clients are set up and have a fixed-fee proposal within a few days of the initial call.
A brief discovery call
We start with a no-obligation conversation to understand your company, your current accountant setup, and what your year end looks like. It usually takes around 20 minutes and you will leave knowing exactly what happens next.
A clear, fixed-fee proposal
You receive a written proposal covering the scope of work, the fee, and the timeline. No vague estimates and no scope creep built in. If your books need catch-up work before we can file, that is costed separately and explained plainly.
We handle the transition
We contact your previous accountant for handover information, obtain your HMRC agent authorisation, and pull together what we need. You do not need to manage the conversation between us — that is our job.
Filed, confirmed, done
Your CT600 is prepared, reviewed with you, and filed. You receive confirmation once HMRC accepts it and a clear record of what was submitted. Come the next year end, the process repeats — and it gets simpler each time because the groundwork is already in place.

Common questions about corporation tax returns
What does a CT600 actually involve — and what do you need from me?
The CT600 is the corporation tax return filed with HMRC, derived from your company’s statutory accounts and the tax computation prepared by your accountant. What we need from you is access to your bookkeeping records, bank statements, and any expenses or capital purchases during the year. If your books are already on Xero or QuickBooks, the information transfer is straightforward. If your records are less organised, we will tell you exactly what we need and work through it with you.
What does corporation tax return filing cost, and what is included?
The fee depends on the size and complexity of your company — turnover, number of transactions, and whether your bookkeeping is current or needs catch-up work. All fees are fixed and agreed before we start. The standard service includes preparation of the corporation tax computation, the CT600 return, and filing with HMRC. Year-end statutory accounts are typically prepared alongside and are either bundled or priced separately depending on your package.
My books are in a bit of a state. Can you still help?
Yes, and it is more common than you might expect. We can pick up records at any stage — part-year, multi-year, or where the previous accountant has left things incomplete. Catch-up work is costed separately and clearly before we begin, so you know what you are committing to. Once the backlog is cleared, ongoing compliance tends to run considerably more smoothly.
Is there a minimum contract or a tie-in period?
No minimum contract. Most clients stay year after year because the service works, not because they signed something committing them to it. If you decide to move on, we provide a full handover to your new accountant and return all your records in good order. We do ask for reasonable notice so that any work in progress is completed properly before the transition.
My corporation tax is overdue. Is it too late to sort it out?
It is rarely too late, though the sooner you act the better. HMRC charges interest on late corporation tax from the payment deadline and can issue penalties for late filing of the return itself. We will assess what is outstanding, prepare the return accurately, and where appropriate can help you understand the penalties already accrued. Getting it filed — even late — stops the position from deteriorating further.
Can you help reduce my corporation tax bill, not just file the return?
Within the law, yes. The computation reviews all allowable deductions, capital allowances, and any reliefs your company may be entitled to — including R&D tax credits for qualifying businesses. For companies with more complex positions, we offer a separate tax planning service that looks at director remuneration structuring, timing of expenditure, and longer-term considerations. The CT600 filing and the tax planning are distinct but work well together.
