Accountants for London Businesses

Your London business accounts, handled properly.

Running a London business means your time is already stretched. Most small business owners end up doing their own books late at night or handing them to an accountant who files and disappears. Supreme Consulting works with London clients remotely, on a fixed monthly fee, with replies within one working day.

  • Your tax position known months before the deadline
  • Bookkeeping current, VAT submissions on time, nothing missed
  • A fixed monthly fee with no surprise invoices at year-end
  • Plain-English advice from someone who knows how your sector works

No long-term contract. If it is not working after three months, you leave with clean books and nothing owed.

Sound familiar?

Your accountant files. That is all.

A lot of London small businesses pay for an accountant and hear from them once a year, usually just before a deadline. The books are behind, the tax bill is a surprise, and no one has mentioned what you could have done differently six months ago. That is not an accountant. That is a filing service.

  • ✕ Year-end arrives and the tax bill is news to you
  • ✕ Books are months behind and catching up takes all weekend
  • ✕ VAT returns, payroll, and deadlines managed in a panic each quarter

What being on top of it looks like

Your compliance runs on schedule. Your tax position is visible in advance. When something changes — IR35, a threshold, a relief you can claim — you hear about it before it becomes a problem.

  • ✓ Your tax liability estimated and explained well before HMRC asks
  • ✓ Monthly bookkeeping current, cloud-based, and reviewed regularly
  • ✓ VAT, payroll, and filing deadlines handled without you chasing anyone
  • ✓ One fixed monthly fee covering the scope agreed — no additions at year-end

Why Supreme Consulting

What makes this different from most accountants

There are plenty of firms that will file your accounts. Fewer will tell you what they mean, flag what is coming, or price it clearly upfront.

📅

Over 20 years of practice

Supreme Consulting has been working with small businesses and contractors since 2005. That is two decades of HMRC changes, tax regime shifts, and business cycles. The advice is grounded in what has actually happened to businesses like yours, not just what the textbook says.

☁️

Cloud-first from day one

Your books run on Xero or QuickBooks Online, with real-time figures accessible without emailing for a spreadsheet. Certified in both platforms, we handle the setup, migration, and ongoing reconciliation. You see your position when you want it, not six months after the fact.

💷

Fixed fees, no moving targets

The scope is agreed upfront and priced clearly. There are no hourly rates ticking in the background, no unexpected invoice for a phone call. If your needs grow, you are told what the additional cost is before anything changes.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

Most clients go from initial call to fully onboarded within two weeks. The transition is handled at our end — you do not need to sort the admin before we can start.

1

A short discovery call

We spend 20 to 30 minutes understanding your business, your current setup, and what has been falling through the cracks. No obligation, no sales pitch. You will leave knowing whether we are the right fit before any proposal is sent.

2

A clear, fixed proposal

You receive a written proposal covering exactly what is included, the monthly fee, and the timeline. Everything is itemised — nothing is vague. If you have questions, they get answered the same day.

3

We handle the onboarding

We contact your previous accountant to retrieve the records, migrate your books to the cloud, and set up the integrations. Your job at this stage is minimal. If the books need catching up, we handle that as part of the transition.

4

Your finances, running properly

From here, your compliance is on schedule, your books are current, and your tax position is visible in advance. Regular check-ins, proactive updates when something relevant changes, and a direct line to someone who knows your business — which is, frankly, the way it should be.

Questions

Things London business owners usually ask

Do you actually work with London businesses, or is this just a location page?+

We work with clients across the UK on a fully remote basis. London clients are a regular part of the practice — contractors, owner-managed limited companies, e-commerce sellers, and professional service businesses. Everything is handled via cloud accounting platforms and video calls, so location has not been a practical barrier since the firm was founded in 2005.

What does it cost, and what is actually included?+

Pricing is fixed monthly, based on the scope agreed upfront. A typical limited company package covers year-end accounts, corporation tax (CT600), confirmation statement, and access to support through the year. Bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and advisory services are priced separately and clearly. You receive a written proposal before anything starts — no hourly rates, no year-end surprises.

My books are behind and a bit of a mess. Is that a problem?+

It is a common starting point. We handle catch-up bookkeeping as part of the onboarding process. The cost depends on how far back the records go and the volume of transactions, which we will be upfront about in the proposal. Most clients find that having everything sorted in one go is worth considerably more than the catch-up cost.

Am I locked into a contract?+

There is no long-term lock-in. We work on a rolling monthly arrangement with reasonable notice on either side. If it is not the right fit, you leave with clean, up-to-date records transferred to your next accountant. We would rather you stayed because the service is worth it than because leaving is complicated.

I work through a limited company as a contractor. Does IR35 affect me?+

Possibly, depending on your contracts and how your working arrangements are structured. We carry out IR35 reviews and can advise on whether your current contracts sit inside or outside the rules. For contractors in London’s professional and tech sectors in particular, it is worth reviewing your position rather than assuming everything is fine.

How far in advance will I know what my tax bill is?+

For limited company directors, we aim to have your corporation tax liability estimated within a few weeks of your year-end, long before the payment deadline. For Self Assessment, you will know your personal tax position before the January filing rush. The point is to give you enough time to plan rather than simply react to a number when it arrives.

Ready when you are

Less to worry about, starting this month.

A short call is all it takes to establish whether we are the right fit for your London business. Fixed fees, plain-English advice, and compliance that runs on schedule.
